Passports

With days left we FINALLY accomplished getting the girls their passports.

Oy!  This was not an easy task.  First step the pictures.

We went to CVS for "Passport Photos in MINUTES"

if by minutes they meant 30 then yes, but I was thinking more like 10.

These were the finished products.  Poor Syd got a little stage fright and could not stop crying.  Years down the road she's not going to be happy with her passport.

After our 30 minute adventure at CVS we had to speed over to the post office.

Reason being, they do not do passport applications between 11am-1pm (it's lunch)

ARE YOU KIDDING ME, MAYBE THIS IS THE REASON NO ONE USES THE POST OFFICE!

We roll into the post office around 10:30 and see a long line.  Worried we will not make this 11am deadline I hope the line will move fast.  tick-tock-tick-tock  Finally it was our turn and we head over to our guy only to be told....

"I'm the only guy here that doesn't know how to do passports."

Really!??!  Then why the HECK are you here?

He tells us to get back in line and wait for the next person.  Should be easy enough. NOPE!

The workers were taking longer than ever, and I watched the minutes slowly approaching 11:00.

End of story, we did get the paperwork taken care of.  Even though the lady did look at her watch when we walked up.  Lucky for us it said 10:52  BOO-YAH!
