HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

The girls and I made Andrew his FAVORITE chocolate cake for his birthday.

We went out bought all the ingredients and made it together.

I put it in the oven...set the timer...took it out and let it cool.

Went to take it out of the pan....and SLOP! (sorry no pictures)

Baking a cake only half of the recommended time does not work!
There was half baked cake and batter all over the counter.

Take two on the birthday cake went much smoother!

Making and tasting the first cake we never got to fully enjoy
