wonderful summer break

Summer break has come and gone and the grand idea of posting updates for all to read never happened.

So here is a quick recap.

FIRST STOP....FLORIDA
The girls spent a month with their Grammy and Papa in Florida.  In addition to time with grandparents they got to hang out with their cousin, aunt, uncle and old friends.

best part...HORSE CAMP.  It turned out to be one of the highlights of the entire break.  The girls are now all horse professionals and Madison is certain she needs to get herself a horse ASAP.

SECOND STOP....CHICAGO

What isn't there to say about Chicago in the summertime.  It was wonderful visiting with extended family, going to our cousin's wedding and of course downtown shopping and sight seeing.  We had an AMAZING week packed full of fun and adventure.

THIRD STOP....CONNECTICUT
Connecticut can only mean one thing, Grandpa's house.  Time for the beach, boat and loads of spoiling.  The twins had their first experience tubing and think it is totally tubular! (haha!)

FOURTH AND FINAL STOP....NEW YORK
We spent some time in upstate New York and Long Island and covered adventures of all kinds.  We went horseback riding, did loads of swimming, made a first visit to Coney Island and played with cousins.  It was a great end to a great summer.
